第49回全日本合気道演武大会

Last Saturday, I went to Tokyo for the 49th All Japan Aikido Demonstration. It was my third time to go, and this year was my first time to join the demonstrations. The demonstration was held in the Nippon Budokan.

One of my teachers asked me to be an uke for him. An uke is the person who is thrown. There were four uke for my teacher. His demonstration was only about 2 minutes long, so my part was short. There were many demonstrations all day long from all over Japan. There were also some demonstrations from other countries.

It was a really great experience for me. I hope I can join the demonstration again sometime in the future.
