Cherry Blossom Viewing Party

We had a great hanami again this year! It was a little cold and windy, but we still had fun. This year, only Dave and RJ were at the party. Nick went to Tokyo last weekend, Manami was recovering from her cold at home, and Satoshi had a fever, so Ayumi stayed home to take care of him.

I woke up at 6:30am and went to the river to find a good place for our groundsheet. The ground was still wet, but I found a nice grassy area that was dry and soft to sit on.

A lot of people came and went throughout the day. There were NEO students, ex-NEO students, Dave's friends, Dave's friend's friends and Dave's friend's friend's friends! Thank you to everybody that brought food or drinks to the party. We had some delicious breads and pizza, and some great wine, too!

We finally went home at around 6pm. Tatsuki played a lot all day and he didn't take a nap, so he passed out in the bicycle seat on the way home. I was tired too, but really enjoyed the day.
