A weekend in the countryside

Last weekend, Dave, Tatsuki and I went to an international villa with a group of friends.  The villa is in Hattoji, a very small town near Wake. 

This was my third time to go to Hattoji.  We go every year in the fall, because the leaves are beautiful in that area.  Unfortunately, this year was a little too early, and the trees were still green.

Hattoji Villa is a traditional Japanese-style house, with sliding doors and tatami.  We hung out, played card games, and cooked a big dinner for everyone.  It was a lot of fun!
