New Year's in Phuket

For the past two years, I went home to the U.S. for New Year's.  This year I made it a tropical vacation and went to Phuket, Thailand.  I saw some beautiful beaches, went on some great tours, and met some friendly animals!

My favorite area was called Phang Nga Bay, a popular place for tours.  I went snorkeling and kayaking.  I also saw a famous island called James Bond Island, which was used in an old 007 movie.

 

 

I had a great time in Thailand.  It was over too fast.  But for now, it feels good to be back in Japan.
