Lemonade Picnic
Yesterday we had a lemonade picnic at Futsukaichi Park (二日市公園).
About 30 people came out to enjoy the wonderful Spring weather with the NEO staff.
Nick-sensei was the "Lemonade Master". He has a secret recipe that is perfectly sweet, sour and delicious. The kids enjoyed squeezing fresh lemons to make lemon juice.
After making lemonade, we played some games. We had a sack race. The kids had to hop in a sack as fast as they could.
We also had a water balloon toss. Partners tossed a water balloon back and forth until it broke.
Finally we had a watermelon smash. This years watermelon was really tough and it took many hits to crack open!
